My review of Google Chrome’s recent tab productivity feature and why it’s a miss.
This week, Google announced that you can be more productive with your tabs by grouping them. At first, I was excited! As someone who is using Arc browser, I thought, let’s see what cool and efficient tools Google came up with for tabs, maybe I will convert.
And I have to say… this new feature is a miss!
All you do is “group” your tabs by creating a new group and moving the links you want there. Yes, it can reappear if you close everything, yet the tabs still exist in a cluttered state. It doesn’t offer any full value like the way Arc browser does.
Google Chrome productivity tabs feature personal example.
As someone who has been using Arc browser for over a year now, I can safely say that Google Chrome is still not the best for productivity or organization. As you can see in my screenshot below, all the tabs in Arc are much more organized to keep you from being overwhelmed to being at ease.

Therefore, I dub Arc Browser as the reigning champ of “Best Organized Browser”. It allows me the opportunity to make spaces, folders and add all the links in between.
