Month 1 — Audit Everything
I sit in your meetings, review your tools, and interview each team member about their full workflow. Nothing is assumed.
Part of the audit includes identifying where AI tools could reduce or eliminate manual steps your team is currently doing. The result is a clear friction map, where the manual work is quietly costing you. -
Month 2 — Build and Implement
We align on what needs to be fixed or automated. I build the systems, clean the tools, and implement what the audit identified
Out-of-scope items are flagged before any extra work begins.

Loose ends closed. Processes documented. Team trained on what was built.
You receive everything needed to run these systems without me, whether internally or with a new hire stepping into a defined role.

Hello, I’m Ashley Engbrecht, the person you call when nobody has time to see what's actually broken.
Ashley J. Eng grew out of 10+ years in admin, bookkeeping, and executive support across startups and small-to-medium businesses. What started as freelance work became something more specific: I'm the person who walks into a team, sees what everyone else is too close to notice, and builds the systems that make everything run without friction.
I work best with a real mission to get behind. Give me a team that cares about what they're building, and I'll find every operational gap quietly draining their energy and fix it.
When I'm not building systems, I'm building something else entirely: writing melodies, sewing, or sitting in stillness before the day asks anything of me. I'm slowly learning Spanish to reconnect with my roots. The same person who architects your backend is the one who protects her mornings to do it well, and that discipline shows up in the work.
