Month 1 — Audit Everything
I sit in your meetings, review your tools, and interview each team member about their full workflow. Nothing is assumed.
Part of the audit includes identifying where AI tools could reduce or eliminate manual steps your team is currently doing. In the end, you get a friction map that we continue with in the next month. -
Month 2 — Build and Implement
Through the friction map, we’ve aligned on what needs to be fixed or automated. I then build the systems, introduce the tools, and implement what the audit identified.
Out-of-scope items are flagged before any extra work begins.

Month 3 — Document and Hand Off
Loose ends are closed.
Processes documented.
Team trained on what was built.
You will receive everything you need to run your systems. Even if it takes extra time, there is no additional charge.

Hello, I’m Ashley Engbrecht, the person you call when nobody has time to see what's actually broken.
Ashley J. Eng grew out of 10+ years in admin, bookkeeping, and executive support across startups and small-to-medium businesses. What started as freelance work became something more specific.
I’d sit in on team calls and listen for where the friction shows up. From there, I map out solutions based on what the team already has, and we talk through what to do next. Once everyone's fully on board, I get to work.
With one company, I worked with a team of 4 people who were maxed out every day. Requests kept coming in, systems kept changing, and nobody could keep up. I sat down with each team member to find out where the friction was actually coming from, and found that shifting certain tasks to someone else could take real weight off the team. Once we tested it out, there was no going back.
When I'm not building systems, I'm building something else entirely. From writing melodies to sewing projects, to learning Spanish to reconnect with my roots, to planning my next trip. Before the day asks anything of me, I meditate or take a moment of silence.
